Crop an image

This tool cuts a section out of a picture and keeps only that part: the receipt without the table around it, the portrait out of the group photo, the chart without the slide. What falls outside the selection is not in the new file at all, so it cannot be recovered from it either. Cropping runs in your browser, and your image is never uploaded.

Questions

Is the cropped away part really gone?
Yes. The new file contains the selected pixels only, so there is no hidden border to restore.
What are the coordinates measured against?
The source image, from its top left corner. The selection is applied before any turn or resize, so it always refers to the picture you uploaded.
How large can the section be?
Up to 10000 pixels per side, from a source file of up to 50 MB.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping happens in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
