Convert AVIF to JPG

This tool converts AVIF images to JPG. AVIF packs a picture into fewer bytes than anything else here, which is exactly why you meet it on modern web pages and why so much other software still refuses to open it. The conversion runs in your browser, and your image is never uploaded.

Questions

Why convert AVIF to JPG?
Because support outside the browser is still thin. AVIF is the most efficient format here, but many programs, print services and devices do not read it.
Does the image lose quality?
A little, as with any second lossy pass: the picture is decoded and encoded again. The default quality of 90 keeps that out of sight on a photograph.
What happens to transparent areas?
They become white, because a JPG cannot store transparency. Choose PNG as the output when you need to keep it.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion happens in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
