Data converters

These tools move data between formats and make it readable again. A CSV file becomes JSON and JSON becomes CSV, an Excel workbook becomes CSV as well, JSON and XML files can be re-indented into something a person can follow, and a CSV file can trade one delimiter for another, from a semicolon to a comma or back. Each of these tools also has a home of its own: the CSV, JSON and XML converters live in the section for their format, and the Excel converter lives in Table tools. This page gathers them by the job instead of by where they live. Everything happens on your device, so the file is never uploaded to a server.

Questions

Which conversions are there?
CSV to JSON and JSON to CSV, and an Excel workbook to CSV. JSON, XML and CSV each have a formatter that keeps the format: JSON and XML only change the indentation, and CSV only changes the delimiter.
Why do these tools also appear under CSV, JSON, XML and Table tools?
Because each of them has a home of its own: the CSV, JSON and XML converters live in the section for their format, and the Excel converter lives in Table tools. This page collects them by task instead of by where they live.
Do my files leave my device?
No. Every tool here runs in your browser, so the file stays on your device from the moment you choose it to the download of the result.
What are the size limits?
Up to 50 MB per file. A very large file can still be more than your browser has the memory to parse.
Do I need an account?
No. These tools work without signing up and without installing anything.
