Split a PDF
This tool turns one PDF into one file per page: a scanned batch of receipts becomes one file per receipt, a bundle of certificates one file per certificate. The pages are copied as they are instead of being rendered again, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-encoded. Splitting runs in your browser, and your document is never uploaded.

How it works
- 1 Choose a PDF file.
- 2 Leave the page selection empty to split every page, or name the pages you want, for example 1-3,7.
- 3 GRID16 writes one PDF per page in your browser.
- 4 Download the files.
Questions
- What do I get back?
- One PDF per page, each carrying its page number, in the order of the document.
- Can I split only part of the document?
- Yes. A selection such as 1-3,7 produces four files, and an empty selection splits the whole document, up to 2000 pages.
- Do the pages change?
- No. Every page is copied as it is. Nothing is re-encoded, and text stays text.
- Is my document uploaded to a server?
- No. Splitting happens in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
