Convert PDF pages to JPG

This tool renders every page of a PDF as a JPG image, which is what you need when a page has to go somewhere that takes pictures rather than documents: a chat message, a slide, a web page. JPG is the right output for pages that are mostly photos or scans, while pages of fine text and screenshots keep more detail as PNG. Rendering runs in your browser, and your document is never uploaded.

Questions

How many pages can I convert?
Up to 100 pages in one job, from a file of up to 50 MB.
Which resolution should I choose?
Between 72 and 300 DPI, 150 by default. 150 is enough for a screen and 300 is the value to pick when the image goes to print. A higher DPI means a larger image and a longer run.
Why does small text look soft?
JPG compresses in blocks, and that is visible around sharp edges and thin letters. Raise the quality, raise the resolution, or use the PDF to PNG tool, which does not compress at all.
Is my document uploaded to a server?
No. Rendering happens in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
