Rotate PDF pages

This tool turns the pages of a PDF by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, which is what a batch scanned sideways needs. The rotation is written into the pages instead of being rendered again, so text stays selectable, nothing loses quality and the file does not grow. Rotating runs in your browser, and your document is never uploaded.

Questions

Can I rotate a single page?
No. The rotation applies to every page of the document. A page that was already stored turned keeps its difference to the others, because the rotation is added to what the page already carries.
Does rotating cost quality?
No. The pages are copied and the rotation is stored as a property of the page. Nothing is rendered again, so the file stays the size it was.
Will every reader show the page upright?
Yes. The rotation is part of the document, and that is what a PDF reader uses to decide which way up to draw a page.
Is my document uploaded to a server?
No. Rotating happens in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
