Convert PNG to PDF

This tool puts PNG images into a PDF, one page per image, which is what screenshots, diagrams and exported graphics usually need. A PNG is copied into the document unchanged, so lines, text and sharp edges stay exactly as crisp as in the original. The PDF is built in your browser, and your images are never uploaded.

How it works

  1. 1 Choose one or more PNG files.
  2. 2 Arrange them in the order the pages should follow, and set page size, orientation and margin if the default does not fit.
  3. 3 GRID16 builds the PDF in your browser, one page per image.
  4. 4 Download the PDF.

Questions

What happens to transparent areas?
The alpha channel goes into the PDF together with the image. A PDF page has no background of its own and is white, so a transparent area shows as white paper and prints that way.
Is the image compressed?
No. A PNG is copied in unchanged, which is why a screenshot in the PDF is as sharp as the file you started with. It also makes the PDF about as large as the images together.
How many images fit into one PDF?
Up to 30 files per job, each up to 50 MB and 100 MB together, and up to 2000 pages in the finished document.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is built in your browser; the files never leave your device.
