Convert text case
This tool converts pasted text into one of six cases: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase or snake_case. Title Case capitalizes every word with no list of exceptions, so it treats "of" and "the" the same as any other word. camelCase and snake_case split each line into words at everything that is not a letter or a digit and at a lower-to-upper change, so "user name" and "userName" both convert the same way, and keep accented letters as they are. It works on up to 50,000 characters and runs in your browser, so the text is never uploaded.

Questions
- How does Title Case decide what to capitalize?
- It capitalizes the first letter of every word and lowercases the rest, with no list of short words left alone. That makes it predictable, but it does capitalize words like "of" and "the" that a style guide might keep lowercase.
- What do camelCase and snake_case do with multiple words?
- They split each line into words wherever the text is not a letter or a digit and wherever lowercase meets uppercase, so "user name", "user_name" and "userName" all convert to the same result. Accented letters stay as they are; nothing is transliterated.
- How long may the text be?
- Up to 50,000 characters.
- Does my text reach a server?
- No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the text you paste is never uploaded.
